Upon arrival in the spectacular valley, go to the fortress of Guadalest village (El Castell de Guadalest) and see the remains of the 11th-century Alcozaiba fortress and San Jose Castle at the top of the cliff. Enjoy some free time to get to know the village and visit one of its museums, such as the Micro-Gigantic Museum. Continue to Las Fuentes del Algar (Algar Waterfalls) to admire a series of crystal-clear small springs and waterfalls in a spectacular setting. Very nice discovery of this pretty village with a lot of interesting explanations and several incredible points of view! The little walk of the Algar fonts then is perfect for cooling off and discovering magnificent waterfalls! Alberto took the time to answer our questions and point out things not to miss.

Breathtaking views, another wonderful day out from Alicante.

So pleased to see Alberto again, we knew the day would be truly memorable. He is the best guide we nave ever had, a steady pace, interesting information and time for lunch. The only downside, would be ,having to pay for 3 people instead of 2 which makes the day expensive, and the falls were very busy, understandable being summer

The trip was the highlight of the holiday week. Alberto is a great guide who expertly tells you the history and present of the area, and we were able to decide the schedule of the trip ourselves. The mountain village with its surroundings is really beautiful, as are the waterfalls. For lunch at the restaurant with a delicious local menu, and where a gluten-free diet is taken into account without any problems. There is also the opportunity to buy local fruits, almonds, vinaigrettes, oils, etc. at affordable prices. We recommend a trip!
