Simply check in when boarding a tram, bus, or metro, and then check out when you exit or disembark the vehicle. Your ticket will be validated on first use and can be used for unlimited travel until the end of its validity. If you have additional questions, or your ticket appears to be defective, you can easily go to one of the designated pick-up locations or call the number presented on your mobile voucher for assistance.

      Know before you go

      • Please note that once in Amsterdam, you first have to collect your public transport chip card at one of the indicated locations on your voucher
      • Children up to 4 years old travel for free on the public transport system in Amsterdam, so there is no need to buy a ticket for them
      • For Children 4 years and up until 11 years, there is a 24-hour ticket available
      • If you need a ticket for children which is valid more than 24 hours, it is suggested that you buy multiple 24 hour child tickets. Tickets are valid from the first time you check in
      • This ticket does not cover regional trains to and from Amsterdam Schiphol airport
      • Booking fee applies

      Extremely convenient. To pickup tickets at Centraal Station after arriving from Schiphol you exit the main station and look to your left passed the metro entrance. Go to the single story beige building on the other side of the tram line. Take a number. We waited about 15 minutes to be served. Don’t forget that you need to tap your card going in and out.

      This is a very easy and inexpensive way to travel throughout Amsterdam. Our only problem was that the morning we planned to tour the Ann Frank house, the tram drivers did a sit out. That afternoon they were back at work. It would have been nice to have received notification of this.

      This pass was used for metro, tr and busses!! NO TRAINS. I say that because the intercity trains are different .. it was the best thing. I walked across the street when I arrived, they processed me, I was good to go into 10 mins.. I didn’t have to wait in line. Highly recommend it
