Full description
The Skevos fishing boat is a handmade traditional 10 meter boat with a separate fishing area for 10 people,separate seats with a table for dining. It also has toilet, and external fresh water shower, wifi, and meets all international standards to be able to to make fishing trips with safety and consistency. The Skevos fishing boat from electronic equipment has a depth sounder, fish finder 1000w, radar, gps and 2 uhf approved with European safety standards. Our trip starts from the center of Rhodes towards to a shallow sandy beach. Our travel time to there is about 1 hour as throughout our trip we will be fishing for small tuna fish and other types of hunter fishes like mahi mahi amberjacks barracudas and other types with professional trolling equipment which we provide to you.Then we will go fishing for 2 hours bottom (ground) fishing and all our fishes that we will catch will be baked in the handmade bbq made by captain Skevos. Then we will go for a swim in a quiet and shallow sandy beach and while you swim we will prepare fresh fish, Greek salad and fresh bread baked in the wood fired oven.Our stop will last half an hour.After we need 35-45 minutes for return back to the harbour , we will not waste our time for no reason we will continue Trolling fishing. Totally you will have the best fishing experience in Rhodes island. Learn the art of fishing from the fisherman Skevos and from his father Michalis, their experience and cooperation in the fight with a big fish will excite you

Skevos und Michalis sind beide super sympathisch gewesen. Wir haben leider nicht so viel Fisch gefangen und wenn dann nur relativ kleine Fische, aber das lag wahrscheinlich einfach am Tag. Trotzdem gab es am Ende für jeden einen Fisch zum Essen, den sie in weiser Voraussicht noch zusätzlich mitgenommen und dann zubereitet haben. Der griechische Salat war natürlich auch lecker und das kurze Baden/Schnorcheln eine schöne Überbrückung bis das Essen fertig war. Der Ausflug ist sehr zu empfehlen, wir hatten einen tollen Tag.

This was such a fun trip. We had never fished before but was really interested In trying it out. There was me and my hubby and 6 other people for the trip. Skevos and Mike where great, we all had a good laugh, caught some fish and Mike cooked them on the barbecue whilst Skevos made a delicious Greek salad. I was sceptical about trying fish with the head still on but I got over it and it was such a delicious lunch. You also get beer, soft drinks and water inc in this trip. We done some more fishing after lunch then back to the harbour. I would definitely recommend this trip even if you've never fished before, give it a go.

Very good, Skevos explained everything and always helped when we needed help. Fishing was a lot of fun, a great experience and then eating the fish you caught was completely different to buying fish in the supermarket. The homemade salad is also really good. Can only recommend this experience.
