If your accommodation is in Rovaniemi city center, we kindly ask you to walk to our office. Read below why. If you are staying in the city center, we would kindly ask you to come to our office (our address: Rovakatu 24, 96200 Rovaniemi) and start the tour from there. You are not staying in the city center nor is your pickup location listed as an option? No problem! Please send us an email with your address and we take it from there. Please note that pickup service from accommodations outside the Rovaniemi city area (e.g. Apukka Resort) may be subject to a charge.

Full description

This snowmobile tour is for those who want to enjoy a snowmobiling experience in the beautiful Southern Lapland wilderness. The journey takes us through beautiful Taiga forests and over the frozen landscapes of the area. On route we make several stops to enjoy the peaceful nature and landscapes. Approximately halfway through your journey, your guide will serve warm drinks and share his knowledge of the area. After taking some pictures and finishing the warm drinks you jump back on the snowmobiles and head for home. Please note: The driving distance depends on the driving skills of the group. You will stay outdoors for approximately 2 - 2,5 hours - the 4 hour tour time includes transfers to and from the start/finish location. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for extra charge. All tours listed are for a minimum of 2 persons paying a full (adult) price, unless mentioned otherwise. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The driver is held liable for a flat rate of 1000 € per person in case of an accident.

What to bring

  • Driver's license

Know before you go

  • Cold weather clothing will be provided, but we recommend to dress appropriately.
  • Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.
  • The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license – A1, T, A or B category (please check that it is valid in Finland). For all snowmobile tours we ask you to take your driving license with you. Also a copy or photo is suitable.
  • Please note that it is strictly prohibited to drive a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The starting point for the safari is stated in the booking confirmation.
  • The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the snowmobile. The driver is held liable for a flat rate of 1000 € per person in case of an accident.
  • The price is per person with two people sharing the snowmobile.
  • Price for the single driving supplement is 60 euros / per person. If you wish to book this extra please contact us at sales@wildaboutlapland.com.

Ein richtig cooles Erlebnis! Tolle Tour , hervorragender Guide und super Organisation. Hatten riesigen Spaß! Da sich niemand sonst für die lange Tour angemeldet hatte , hatten wir sogar eine private Tour nur für uns . So kam jeder auf seine Kosten . Würden immer wieder nur über diesen Anbieter buchen
