Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Vesuvius: Full-Day Guided Tour

Unfortunately, this day tour was a total disappointment. It started with the paid parking space (18€) for our car, although according to the description and confirmation, a parking space should have been included, and an employee of the agency who communicated this in a very rude manner. Furthermore, the transfers were not carried out in a "luxury minibus". The trip to Herculaneum even took place in a completely dirty van, in which even the interior paneling was missing. In Herculaneum we had enough time. Then it got stressful. We were carted to Vesuvius and only had 1.5 hours to get up there and back to the meeting point. There was no time at all to enjoy the volcano and the view. Let alone wait for a guide who could explain and show you something. Of course, there wasn't much time left for Pompeii either. Due to the size and the poor map and audio guide, there was no chance of finding a good circular route. The tour is a rip-off.
