Itinerary:
Day 1
Kibale National Park
pick up from your hotel after breakfast (8:00) for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and the thick jungle of Africa to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. You will visit Ndale crater lake in the Afternoon. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 2
Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. You will take a nature walk in the afternoon to Bigodi village for cultural experiences.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi Forest.
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations, probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, and the highland rain forests which reach the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, you will do cultural experiences in the afternoon. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 4
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 to 10 hours depending on the gorilla family nearby but it’s well worth the effort.

Day 5
Return To Kampala
Return to Kampala in the morning, lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara with stop over at Equator Uganda crossing and Mpambire drum makers for a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs. Transfer to Entebbe for the evening flight back home (Approximately 8-9 hours’ drive).
