It was a really great tour! The guide Javier took me safely into the park and showed me the 15 Moai sculptures from the inside and told me something about their history. We arrived in the dark and I was able to watch the sunrise on a chair until it got light. Then he took some nice photos of me because he knows the perfect spots. The island is really beautiful and impressive.

This was a magical trip! Melinka was a great guide, funny and informative, and also created space for me to just wander and take in the sunrise experience at my one pace. It’s a little pricey, for what is essentially a ride to and from the Moai, but it is what it is. Sadly, the guide never showed for the date when I booked this, not sure what happened. The company were very apologetic and were able to reschedule for the next morning - PHEW! I highly recommend booking trips early on in your visit to Easter island, just you have a bit of wiggle room if you need to reschedule due to weather or other issues. This wasn’t the only time I had to do this during my 6 day visit.

Full description

Be prepared to enjoy this amazing experience. We will take you to the most memorable and beautiful place of easter island. You will see the sunrise at tongariki, an historic and ancestral place where te sunrise goes at the back of the 15 moais. You will be able to take pictures, record and check the entire place after the sunrise.

You will experience to see the full colors of the sunrise, appreciating the most beautiful moment of the day at Rapa Nui.

After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel.

The sunrise tour with Nico was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The sunrise was gorgeous and along with it, Nico showed us the petroglyphs and birthing stones, all of which were fascinating.
