A bit of a chaotic start... picked up by a 4x4 at our hotel and 1 hour of dirt roads along the very damaged river. The guide doesn't speak English and we don't know if we'll ever take the boat. He ends up stopping the car and after a walk in a dirt field (in flip-flops) we finally arrive at the boat. The latter is very beautiful and spacious, just for the 4 of us and makes up for my early adventures. Very nice captain.

The trip was super exciting, varied and adventurous. The guides spoke almost no English, so background information was lacking. They were extremely friendly and provided us with water. We particularly enjoyed the food with the family along the way. A big drawback is that the transfer does NOT go to Battambang (as stated). The drop off is far outside - about 8km - of Battambang in the middle of nowhere. Transport is then necessary.
