Excellent tour. The guide was absolutely brilliant from the beginning. He commenced the tour by telling us how and when the tower was built and the rationale behind it. Then we were welcomed inside the tower and on each level we got out horizons broadened by the amount of detailed history covering the centuries. The tour culminated with an astounding view of the city from the top level and the cherry on top was when we got inside the room where the mechanism of the clock is. Impressed by how knowledgeable the guide was about the clock mechanism of functioning. Something that is definitely worth doing when visiting Bern.

She was very knowledgeable and took us step by step behind the scenes of the clock and the intricate workings of it! There was some step climbing to the top of the tower and it was worth it to get to the top and see the clock! Fantastic! Don't miss out on doing this tour!

Whats Switzerland without a tour of the clock makers haven? This was just that. We got a good peek into the centuries old clock tower, its history and its inner workings. The highlight is to be inside the geared area ta the top of the hour and see it all in action from the inside! As a plus, the view of old town Bern from the tower is amazing!
