Enjoyed it. Got to visit key sites. Tour guide was very good - personable. Had good stories and shared NFLD and St John’s history in an interesting way. Was also willing to talk a bit about his experiences growing up in Labrador and now living/studying in St John’s - if/when asked. Thankfully we only had 5 adult customers instead of 6 or 7. That van would have been ‘super cozy’ with more than 5 adult customers. Everyone in our van was from the cruise ship. We had walked to different hotels to get picked up, because the company didn’t specify a near-the-port hotel for pick up. So that confusion meant our tour began late (+ most of us walked further uphill than needed.). I’d suggest the company have a short consult with your tour guides in St John’s. They’d be able to tell you which 2 hotels are closest to the Cruise Ship port. I’d suggest using the Alt Hotel as a pick up location for those arriving via a Cruise Ship. It was a short 5 min walk once I’d exited the pier.

I really enjoyed the tour. Will is a very knowledgeable guide, clearly knowing the area and the history of St. John's very well. He was very accommodating and responsive to all the questions or asks during the tour. I can highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. John's and wanting to get a feeling of the town and it's history.

The tour was great but the operators need to let the local guides determine the pick up points. We had to take a 20 minute taxi ride to the address we were given, then another couple was picked up across the street from our hotel. Mark, our guide, was informative and attentive. We never felt rushed

The driver was polite & helpful & the guide was excellent. He knew the area & history well & communicated clearly. We would have preferred to be picked up at the boat instead of a long confusing walk. The vehicle was clean, but really too small for 7 people to get in & out comfortably.

Wonderful!! Will was a fountain of information, and was spot on in his recommendation of Dukes for fee and chee, and The Bagel Cafe for breakfast and Touton with molasses!
