Full description

A visit to the magical home of Guinness is a must on anyone’s trip to Dublin. Guinness Storehouse is located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery at St. James’s Gate. Housed in an old fermentation plant, the 7-story visitor experience tells the history of the world-famous Guinness Stout. Your adventure begins the moment you walk through the door and into the building’s giant, the pint-shaped heart of glass. As you make your way through the Guinness Storehouse, you’ll discover what goes into making the Black Stuff – the ingredients, the process, and the passion. Learn about the different award-winning advertising campaigns and slogans used to market Guinness. Having traveled through more than 250 years of history, end your tour at the Gravity Bar where you’ll receive a pint of Guinness. Relax and enjoy the spectacular 360-degree views over Dublin.

Enjoyable visit to Guinness Storehouse lots of information on brewing, the history and loads more about Guinness. Can take your time and explore and also places to eat and drink. The tasting experience was well worth the wait and the trip up to the gravity bar is not to be missed with amazing views and a free pint.

What a great venue and experience all round. The exhibition was detailed and informative (obviously secrets are kept!) but the attention was focussed on the matters and skill of generations of great people making Guinness a national symbol and drink for a nation to be rightfully very proud of. Well done.

We really enjoyed the self tour of Guinness and using the QR codes to listen to the history as we walked through the various stages was very informative. The tasting segment was enjoyable. The building itself was very impressive. The view of Dublin at the end of the tour was amazing especially being able to enjoy a complimentary Guinness of your choice while over looking the city.
