The driver was very friendly and he explained the itinerary at the point of picking us up and also made sure our lodge arrange a late breakfast for us upon our return as we were going for the 6am drive.The start was slow as it didnt look like we were going to see any animals..But then all changed as our guide through his experince sported some Lion footprints therefore we were on track to spot one and we did eventually..My daughter made a very detailed list of all the animals we saw including some birds nevermind all the photos we took.The guide made sure he stopped each time we sported an animal so we could take it all in.Halfway through our drive we stopped at one of the viewing points with an animal watering hole and as if by plan,we watched a lot of animals turn up for their morning drink which included buffalo,giraffe,zebra,monkies,warthog..It was brilliant to see.The guide also gave us some history of how the landscape of the park had changed over the years .

Full description

Exploring the vast genuine wilderness of the Zambezi National Park, these drives set off either in the early morning or mid-afternoon. Using an open four-wheel-drive vehicle, the game drive allows the guests to discover many interpretations of the bush and all its inhabitants, related to them by our suitable trained, and qualified guides. This is an uncontrived bush experience, covering a genuinely wild, unfenced wilderness area. Please note that the Zambezi National Park is only a five-minute drive from Victoria Falls town, so there are no lengthy transfers involved. The morning safari sets off at 0600hrs and a light breakfast, tea/coffee, and mineral waters are served. The afternoon safari departs at 1500hrs and soft drinks mineral waters and snacks are provided.

Great experience! Our guide was fantastic. I am into photography and he was so patient with me, taking time for me to get close up shots of the animals. We saw a lioness, lots of elephants, hundreds of water buffalo’s, baboons, hyenas, lots of warthogs. No Rhinos are in this area. Our driver was on time, he had fantastic knowledge of the animals and the experience lasted the 3 hours. We were also given water, beers and crisps!! 😃
