Seoul: Namdaemun Market Street Food Tour

This market tour was amazing and I can highly recommend it if you want to grab some good & cheap street food, see some "hidden stores" and learn a lot about Korea, Seoul and this market. I did this tour on a Monday and my guide for the tour was Alan. I can only recommend him to you with all my heart! He is a very humble and friendly guy that tries to answer all your questions as best as he can. He speaks English very well and I think you will like his voice as much as I did. We talked a lot about our backgrounds and traditions, we even had a few laughs. All in all just a great connection - never experienced that with a tour guide before. Since he uses WhatsApp, we were able to find each other at this busy market/metro station really quickly. He also took some pictures during the tour of me and send them to me afterwards. Conclusion: Ask for Alan! :-)

We had a great time on our tour with soojin. She was very friendly and accommodating. Some other people on our tour cancelled and it ended up just being my husband and I. She personalized the tour for us and we got to have some great conversation about Seoul food, culture and history.

tilda was an exellent guide and a great source of information about the history, not just of the market we visited, but also of korea. we learnt a lot and enjoyed the tour immensely. the opportunity to try knife cut noodles, cold noodles, various other street foods was great
