Great Way to Travel from Stockholm to Helsinki My wife and I took the Silja Line from Stockholm to Helsinki and had a wonderful 17-hour journey. The ship was nearly empty—probably due to the off-season—which made for a peaceful, relaxed trip. Our cabin was clean, though compact, as expected on a ship. The food was good, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff onboard were friendly and helpful throughout. Boarding and deboarding were smooth, automatic, and hassle-free. The sauna was excellent, and the jacuzzi was even better—clean, warm, and relaxing. We also enjoyed a fantastic beer at the bar (wish I remembered the brand—it was great!). All in all, a fantastic experience and a great way to travel between these two beautiful cities. Highly recommended!

Full description

Travel from Stockholm to Helsinki overnight by ship and enjoy not only the two cities but also a relaxing time onboard. Leave Stockholm in the afternoon, check into your comfortable private sea-view cabin, and make the most of your time onboard. Take advantage of the breakfast buffet, which is included in the price.

Dine at the Grand Buffet or one of the à la carte restaurants. Browse through the shops offering global and local brands, listen to the singer-songwriter in the Pub, watch the evening show in the Starlight Palace or sing karaoke. Relax in the sauna and afterward, drink a fancy cocktail at the bar. 


Arrive in Helsinki well-rested the next morning. If you wish to travel back, you can book trip back as another product. You can also book dinner as an add-on.

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before departure. Check-in closes 20 minutes before departure. Please follow the signs for direction to Helsinki.
