After passing the iconic Broadwater, your friendly tour guides will brief you on kayaking techniques. Cruise through spectacular waters, where you might have the chance to spot dolphins and stingrays. Paddle through beautiful sandbanks, offering a unique Gold Coast City view in the background, and arrive at the Northern side of Wave Break Island, where you will park your kayaks next to a scenic spot. Take a short bushwalk to Wave Break Island’s Eastern side to snorkel and explore the underwater beauty of this fantastic island.  Swim amongst the friendly rocky reef locals, diamond fish, and black bream, and discover many other species, from sea cucumbers, trumpet fish, and sergeant fish. You can even find Dory if you are lucky. Here, natural and man-made beauty are combined to create a picture-perfect background; the beautiful Gold Coast waterways with the city’s collection of skyscrapers on the horizon. As you get out of the water, a snack will be waiting for you. Savor it whilst admiring the amazing views, and get ready to return to the starting point.

I highly recommended Seaway Kayaking! It was an amazing tour with Nelson as the tour guide! Nelson was super friendly & knowledgeable! He showed us all the spots to see marine wildlife & even eagles! We saw lots of fishes during snorkelling! Also! He took lots of photos for us & they are all for free! I felt safe kayaking and snorkelling in this tour even I am not good at swimming! At the end he even walked with his kayak to spot us a baby stingray! Thank you Nelson! It’s a must do tour in Gold Coast :)

I did this activity with my husband and 4 year old in our kayak and our 2 older girls- 14 & 23 in another.. Kayaking was a lot easier than I thought it would be and so enjoyable! It was nice being out on the water. The guides were really nice, friendly and very helpful. It was such a nice day and I would most definitely book this again the next time I holiday on the Gold Coast. Totally recommend doing this, you will love it..

Started 15 minutes late. Guides were friendly and informative. The kayaking was fun except if we knew we were being paired up we would have brought a fourth person as our son was paired with a stranger who was not at the same skill and fitness level.. Flip flops are ESSENTIAL due to the hot sand - this was not emphasised enough in the email. The snorkelling was in a safe place and was quite fun. I wish the photographer would have been more active and taken more photos especially kayaking photos. Overall though a great family activity.
