Full description

Gain entry to an ice bar in Reykjavik and explore the gallery with over 60 tons of ice. Marvel at the ice sculptures and carvings of Vikings as you sip on a signature drink.


When you enter the venue, you'll be greeted by friendly staff and given a complimentary poncho and gloves. Then, cross the threshold into an arctic wonder whose walls are covered in magnificent ice carvings. These carvings tell the adventure-filled stories and myths of the Norwegian Viking sailors who made their way over the rough Atlantic seas long ago to start a new life in the land of fire and ice.

Ice sculptures also take a proud place in the gallery, each one intricate and beautiful. To top off the experience, receive an included Magic Ice Bar signature drink, in a glass made of ice. Sip on this locally-sourced beverage as you explore the intricate stories formed in ice all around you. Extra drinks are available to purchase.

This is a must do if you are visiting Reykjavik. Me and my girlfriend loved it. The room isn’t huge but is full of beautiful icy art and great for fun photo opportunities. It’s very calming sitting in the -5 temperature which we loved makes you feel super relaxed. You can play ice air hockey. The welcome drink is incredible similar to a blue lagoon and the presentation of it is awesome. If you are to book it I would recommend buying the package with a second drink included makes it much cheaper as we didn’t and it cost us an extra £18 for 2 drinks one with and another without alcohol. So do the smarter option of a 2 drinks package. Staff were super friendly they provide you with some gloves and a warm cloak to go over your clothes. One staff member gave us a shot of vodka to celebrate my gf’s 30th birthday was a really cool(excuse the pun) experience all round
