Borovets: Snowmobile Adventure

WITH THE LACK OF SNOW? WE DID THE SAME SHORT TOUR 3 TIMES AT LESS THAN 20KM/H. THE SNOWMOBILE WERE IN A CATASTROPHIC CONDITION (A FRONT BLADE CAME OFF, ANOTHER SNOWMOBILE BECAME BREAKDOWN 3 TIMES)

Had a big issue with the timings of this activity. The activity itself was absolutely fantastic. 10/10. But it started well over an hour late, the staff were not concerned whatsoever and we missed our transport back to Sofia - which we had already paid for and then had to pay for a taxi. So turned into an incredibly expensive excursion for us.

So expensive! Got picked up in a dodgy van with another family and after a 15/20 min drive ended up on a field full of dirt and a little bit of snow. It was follow the leader for the entire trip. A small route which was not fun nor thrilling. A family might enjoy it more than myself and my partner did. It was also absolutely freezing. Recommend bringing gloves with you and your own helmet and goggles as the helmets provided had a face guard attached which got foggy so you couldnt see where you were driving. At the end of the activity we were left in the field for 10 minutes alone waiting for transport to pick us up in pitch black. Bit dodgy. Was definitely not worth £51 each and the family who did it with us paid 50lev (£25) for the entire family of 7. When questioned back at the shop a man said that it was set price but definitely cheaper to book whilst there instead of online. Would not recommend and would not do it again.
