Scenic cruise of Lake Minnewanka was very enjoyable. Our captain Liam and host McKenzie shared a lot of information regarding the lake and surrounding areas. Snack shop nearby was also very good for sandwiches before starting the Stewart Canyon trail.
We joined an afternoon boat cruise on a cloudy and drizzly day. Still, our guide (Jordan) did an excellent job of presenting the history and ecology of the lake that there wasn’t a dull moment during the whole tour. The boat was captained by MacKenzie who piloted the tour and made us feel safe on the water. I highly recommend this trip but suggest you do it when the weather is sunny.
