Full description

Go on an adventure to the rainforest and learn about different natural gems on this guided day trip. With courtesy transportation included, you can experience a journey of historical experiences.

Upon arriving at your destination, visit the east side of the El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a short hike to the first waterfall. There, you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing, or free dive from multiple heights.

Further up the trail, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and cliff jump into the river. Learn about the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboos, and 100-year-old trees. Marvel at nature and explore a Puerto Rican rainforest.

End your trip by having lunch at a local small family-owned restaurant that serves authentic grandma-style food for an additional cost. On this tour, you can enjoy a unique local experience with our team of local guides.

The experience was amazing warning you will get very muddy and dirty do not wear white.. lol.. my daughters shoes are now brown because if it.. loved this tour the guide was very nice and mad funny jokes along the way. What I loved the most is the fact that I am a single mom came with my 3 kids and the tour guide Brian I believe was super helpful with my 7 yr old he went down the slide with him and was right by his side the whole time in the water to help make sure he was ok since he’s not the best swimmer. Overall great time would do it again.

The hike required a lot of physical demand but our tour guides were very interactive and helped the group a long the way. Claire and Bryan were very informative and attentive and made sure everyone was okay. Make sure to bring sneakers and light clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy

Ivan was an amazing tour guide. He was informed, charismatic, helpful to those who struggled to maneuver their way through the very challenging trails, and funny! This hike is not for the faint of heart — your shoes will get stuck in the mud as you trek though, you will have to go through water (completely so don’t carry anything on you, just towels + food for the black portion), and will have to climb through and over rocks. However, if you’re in good physical condition and have stamina, this is a truly amazing once in a lifetime experience and we are grateful that we had Ivan and the other guides to help us through the rainforest!
