Full description

Ride the only aerial cable car in all of South Africa and enjoy amazing views along the way. This Swiss-designed and installed gondola seats a maximum of 6 guests. Ascend to the top of the mountain in 6 minutes. As you travel upwards, you’ll pass above a nature reserve. Spot giraffe, zebra, and small antelope from your bird’s eye view. Once you reach the top, you’ll be able to choose from a number of restaurants. Have a drink at the Lookout Bar and sip as a cocktail as you marvel at the spectacular view of the eastern side of the region. Walk “The Dassie Walk,” a 1,200-meter walkway which circles the circumference of the mountain top. Stop at the informative waypoint along the way and learn about the surrounding area. Take the cable car back and return to the starting point. Birthday’s is free, and ID must be entered to obtain a free ticket as well the pensioners tickets required an ID number. Please note that we are open on PUBLIC holidays from 9am to 16:30pm.

My son and I enjoyed lunch and had such a great afternoon just relaxing and having THE BEST pizzas that we bought at the restaurant on top of the mountain. I am definitely going to buy a season ticket and spend more days at peace enjoying the tranquility and sheer bliss on top of the mountain .... HIGHLY recommended..... and to top it off ... only realized when we arrived that with proof of his ID that it was his birthday he went up for free!!!

Great experience and the views are awesome, my only gripe was the service we received from the cable and popcorn kiosk staff at the bottom, it was really bad and this the 4 stars. The service from the restaurant staff and cable personnel at the top of the mountain was really amazing ( 5 stars to them)

It was a wonderfull day - just a pity loadshedding started when we were on our way down in car - and my daughter has a fear of heights - the generator switching on immediately would be helpfull. Very neat, tidy, efficient and beautiful up on the mountain
