We had the full lake tour, started at 0930. Our guide, Leopold Spehar, was full of answers to our many questions. He had a rich understanding of the area that not many people can say that they have. He was quick to show things that were not as noticeable from the main trail, and gave great information about the history of the area. If you get the opportunity, pick Leo for your guide. You will not be disappointed.

Discover the interconnected lakes and waterfalls of Plitvice National Park. Pre-book your National Park entrance ticket online, then explore 29,685 hectares of lakes and forest with a guide. Encounter a variety of native species that pre-date the arrival of humans.

Start your tour at the north entrance of the park. Your sightseeing route is circular, and is designed to show you areas from all parts of the park with a combination of walks and electric-boat rides.
Enjoy a relaxing return to the starting point, made mostly by panoramic train, while you admire myriad waterfalls of different sizes.

The Plitvice Lakes National Park belongs to Dinaric karst area and due to its specific geology, geomorphology, and hydrology, it truly is one of the most unique karst landscapes in the world.
