Guide made suggestions re tour guide vs audio etc, then came to each person and noted down what the wanted and how much money we gave. He would come back with any change. when we arrived at each place he would purchase have the tickets and audio/tour guide. We went for private tour guide at Prison S21 which was great. Very moving experience which brought me to tears. Then we opted for audio tour at the Killing Fields. Also a moving and emotional experience but the place also had a calmness. The audio was beauridully done with facts and info, survivor stories, and composed music. Plenty of seating along the way so you could sit, listen, and take time to reflect. Important for foreigners to learn and see this tragic part of history. So sad.
This was perfect for me as I like to take things at my own pace. Driver and guide were excellent!
