Johnny was an excellent host. He was very enthusiastic, got us to the front of the line or knew where to take us where it was less crowded. Top notch guide Our tour included food as well and he took us to the best spots for coconut ice cream, mango sticky rice, soup noodles (duck and pork) and fried rice. Also was very efficient and communicated well. If we had spent a bit more time shopping at the railway and floating market, that would have been nice. He took a tolled highway to get us back sooner too. The driver was also very good. All in all - very good, small group tour with a spectacular guide. Highly recommended! Thank you Johnny!

Full description

Depart Bangkok and journey southwest for about an hour past the sea salt farms and local villages on the side of the road. Arrive at Maeklong Railway Market and learn how the stalls of fresh seafood built on the train tracks respond every time a train passes through. Continue to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, via a coconut farm if time permits. Immerse yourself in the everyday hustle and bustle as the locals buy their food and household goods. Ride through the market by boat, and try your hand at haggling for a bargain. Select the private option to also have an experience at a local farm. Learn how to harvest coconut and take a rewarding drink from it.

Our trip was excellent we were both a bit unwell but our guide Johnny made the trip a lot of fun and even helped us with a pharmacy. Everything was well organised and we had some amazing experiences with the train and markets.
