Everything from start to finish was well organised. The guide was amazing, lots of facts and useful information even cracking jokes while on the coach moving to the next location. 100% recommended as it was a brilliant day and experience

I have no words to describe my happiness and enjoyment during the tour to the Golden Cirlce. First of all the sites - pure beauty of nature, I loved all of them, the national park, Geysir area and the Gullfoss waterfall. I could make sure that Iceland is a wonderful country full of breathtaking landscapes. The organization of this trip was great, everywhere we had some time to explore and take pictures, although I think the time for visiting the waterfall should be a little bit longer, For me it was quite ok because I'm young and walk fast but for the elderly people it might be not enough time to see it. Actually we had a chance to see something more and it was a really nice surprise. We also stopped by the Icelandic horses and another waterfall, Faxi. The last but not least that everyone from my bus could mention was our guide, Simon, who made this excursion special - his attitude, knowledge about Iceland and sense of humor was absolutely exceptional. I'm so delighted by the tour!

Full description

Take yourself on the Golden Circle Classic, a full-day tour that brings you close to some of Iceland's most beautiful natural sites. This popular excursion introduces you to some of the best known historical sites and natural phenomena in Iceland, all with the commentary of a knowledgeable guide. Begin with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was founded in the year 930 AD. Þingvellir is geologically remarkable and the tectonic plate boundaries form a breathtaking scenery. Then head to the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss and walk toward the edge to feel the mist of the glacial water on your face. From there, journey toward the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur, before traveling back to Reykjavik.

What a great day trip First stop was the springs of geysir , where we got to witness the geysirs shooting boiling water into the air , where it turned to steam because it was so cold , Also got to look at the streams of boiling water which can reach it between 80 and 100 degrees The second stop was gullfoss waterfall , which was simply amazing to witness the power of the water coming over the three waterfalls , ( also had a nice bowl of lamb soup in the restaurant ) it was so cold this was needed The last stop and my favourite was the pinevellir national park , which was my favourite of the 3 places we visited Walking down the path , you get to see some great scenery and some great photo opportunities, in fact all 3 places I took some great photos Unfortunately I can’t remember are guides name , but he was very friendly and told us some great facts about the 3 places we visited I would recommend this trip to see some great scenery, but if you go in the winter , wrap up warm
