The tour booking process was quick, painless and problem free. On arrival, I presented my ticket at the barrier and I was too early but they also noticed the lack of time slot on the voucher itself. They inspired Insisted I go to the ticket office... I queue, which defeats the object! That was kind of the point of pre booking! Thankfully some kind soul let me push in. I speak the the ticket office lady... she was grumpy and extremely rude, I was shouted at rudely and told not to be stupid, it wasn't time yet. 🙄. Back to the other queue, wait another 30 minutes by the gate to finally be allowed in after a huge coach tour rock up... one massive queue formed all the way from the bottom of the hill to get in. I whizz around, and then queue for 15 mins to get out. The restoration works also meant a closure to one side so there was no way around with 2 way traffic everywhere. It was rammed. If I would do it again Book direct to avoid confusion Go early And bring water!

Easy to purchase and 100% when they say you SKIP THE LINE! I turned up at about 8.30am and there weren’t many people in the line but when I left at 10am there were at least 70/80. Buying my ticket online and being able to just show it at the gate saved me a lot of time if I had turned up later.

It was a short walk & easy to find the travel office from the metro station for the Acropolis to exchange our online booked voucher to get our ticket & then to walk to the less crowded entrance to the Acropolis, which was right by the Acropolis Museum.
