This visit taught us a lot and allowed us to better understand the history of the acropolis. The guide was very competent and pleasant. I regret that we did not start with the acropolis because it was very hot that day and we visited the acropolis around noon. In addition we did not have time to visit the rest of the museum without the possibility of returning to the museum at the end of the visit because it is a collective ticket. The only thing that I do not have at all liked it is the photo stop in front of the olympic stadium.
We were the two Frenchmen of a group of around thirty English-speaking people. Our guide Emmanouil commented on the visit to the Acropolis, the bus tour and the visit to the Acropolis museum in English and French, even though there were only two of us. Emmanouil was very available, patient, precise in his comments. We are very delighted by the beauty of what we visited but also by the rich explanations of our so nice guide. We recommend without any hesitation.
Truly dubious organization from the hotel, there are 1 billion groups, we do not know which bus to board, who is our guide, etc. But once this ordeal has been overcome the guide has been really cool , she made the effort to translate everything into French when we were only 2 French in a group of 40 Americans, thank you to her!
Our guide Dimitria was very generous and took the time to explain everything to us, however, in our group, we were only 2 French-speaking Belgians allowed from the English but Dimitria did not leave us any ribs and took the time for us. We thank him and his French is great.
Interesting first glimpse for Athens, even if the acropolis is hopelessly overcrowded and you have to spend a lot of time waiting in line.
