This sandboarding and desert safari in Abu Dhabi was an unforgettable experience! The tour was well-organized, beginning with thrilling dune bashing and sandboarding on stunning desert dunes and a stop at a camel farm to observe the animals .At the traditional camp, we dressed in local attire, smoked traditional shisha, enjoyed delicious food, coffee, and tea, and watched captivating dance performances by a dervish and a belly dancer. The highlight was stargazing under the desert sky with all lights turned off—it was truly magical. Our guide Kevin was exceptional—friendly, helpful ,knowledgeable, and took fantastic photos for us making sure we will take the best moments with us. Every part of the trip, from sandboarding to visiting the camel farm, was memorable. The only part I was unsure about was the camel ride; while unique, I have ethical concerns about animal tourism, so I’d have preferred to skip it. Overall, an amazing journey I highly recommend! My husband and I had such a fantastic time in the desert. Our guide was fun, and tried to keep the group excitement up, taking lots of photos for us and the other people on the tour. We met and rode camels, and went dune bashing which was scary however we felt very safe! Boarding on the snow was fun, walking back up the hill takes some effort! 😂 Watching the sun set on the desert was something we will never forget. Then the day ended with a BBQ and entertainment. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience. Thoroughly recommend!

After pickup in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle, enjoy a comfortable ride to the desert. Once there, visit a camel farm to get up close to these animals who are well-adjusted to desert life. Next, take part in an exhilarating dune bashing experience. Feel your stomach jump as the vehicle heads up and down the steep sand dunes. Then, try your hand at sandboarding by sliding down the dunes on a board. Arrive at the Bedouin desert camp to enjoy a warm welcome of traditional Arabic coffee and dates. Then, walk up a dune to take pictures as the desert changes color as the sun sets on the horizon. At the camp, dive into the local customs and culture of the Arabian peninsula. Enjoy cultural activities such as henna painting, shisha smoking, and camel rides. Then, try on traditional Arabian costumes. Watch captivating performances of Tanoura dancing and belly dancing, before tucking into a barbecue dinner. Finally, the lights of the camp will be switched off.
