The Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Nasr City is a pyramid-shaped memorial in Cairo that is situated in the Nasr City neighborhood. It also functioned as a gathering place for writers, artists, and regular folks to congregate. To Al-Moez Street, the center of Cairo's historic district was transformed into an open-air museum of Islamic architecture (Barqouq mosque & School in Nahassen, El Aqmar Mosque, the Mosque of El Saleh Tale, The Blue Mosque, the Dome, Hospital, and School of Qalawoon). From Bab El Fottoh in the north to Bab Zuwaila in the south, one of Cairo's biggest open Islamic museums, the street stretches. One of the largest collections of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world was acknowledged.
