Full description
Start this exciting half-day tour with transport from Tromsø. Meet your professional musher, dog sled driver. Then, take a seat in a sled pulled by vigorous Alaskan huskies. Enjoy great views of the mountains surrounding Tromsø, which stretch towards the Balsfjord and Malangen Peninsula.
After an hour of dogsledding, head back to camp. There, a trained handler will share their stories about animal care, how the dogs are bred and trained, and the history of dogsledding. Cuddle a husky puppy. Then, enjoy a hearty meal of bidos prepared with reindeer meat, broth and vegetables. A cozy wood fire will be burning in the middle of the tent where a large pot of coffee awaits to warm you up.
