Full description
The Musée National Picasso Paris is the only facility in the world to present Picasso’s complete painted, sculpted, engraved, and illustrated œuvre as a precise record. Included in the collection are sketches, studies, drafts, notebooks, etchings in various stages, photographs, illustrated books, films and documents of the artist’s creative process. Explore the museum’s collection and exhibitions with your skip-the-line priority ticket. Current Exhibitions: "Picasso and Rodin" Exhibition - until January 9, 2022 For the first time, the Musée national Picasso-Paris, in partnership with the Musée Rodin, is staging a “Picasso-Rodin” exhibition at two locations. This unprecedented partnership between Paris’s two monographic museums offers a dual perspective on the artists who paved the way for modernity: while the exhibition at the Musée Rodin explores the responses provided by Rodin (1840-1917) and Picasso (1881-1973) to the early-20th century crisis of representation, the Musée Picasso invites a comparative reading of their artworks. "Picasso: Lectures, Relectures" Exhibition - until September 5, 2021 Experience a thematic tour through the museum’s collections, dedicated to the influence of literature on the work of Pablo Picasso. An unobtrusive but insatiable reader, Picasso drew inspiration from books throughout his life. In the light of his personal library, part of which is presented here for the first time, some of the museum’s masterpieces reveal the importance of narrative in the artist’s creative process. This highly original exhibition immerses visitors in his imaginative world and provides a fresh take on his work.

The museum itself was not very busy. It would have taken about 5-10 min in line to get the ticket. Too bad this activity did not include audio guide. I would have to still get in line to get it so there really was no need to book ahead if you want the audio. Nice collection of picasso’s work.

I loved seeing GUERNICA in its' full size. It was brilliant!

I loved seeing the Picasso Museum. It had been moved from its' original place when I visited it ten years ago, but it is a delightful museum and the GUERNICA exhibit exceeded all expectations. Thank you very much. I had not seen that painting for the past few years. Patricia Redd Johnson
