Discover the Champagne region of France on a shared or private wine-tasting tour from Paris. Explore a top champagne house and a family-owned winery, with plenty of wine tastings and a traditional French lunch during the day. Start with pickup from your centrally-located hotel in Paris. Meet your driver-guide and travel in a cozy air-conditioned minivan to the Champagne region. Enjoy tasty croissants on the way, while your guide tells you all you need to know about the sparkling universe of champagne. Once you arrive in Champagne, start your day with a visit to a prestigious champagne estate (one of Moët & Chandon, Mumm, Veuve Clicquot, Mercier, Pommery, Lanson). Discover never-ending galleries filled with bottles and of course, finish the guided tour with a tasting. Continue the journey and admire the landscapes as you make your way to a tranquil vineyard. Enjoy a tasting of local led by your expert guide. Discover the basics of professional wine tasting, and how to identify the characteristics of each wine. Stop for lunch in a family-run champagne house or at a top local restaurant. Taste several glasses of champagne such as Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, Champagne Rosé, and ratafias (sweet liqueur). Pair the wines with a delicious lunch of authentic French cuisine. After lunch, enjoy a digestive tour through the vineyard of the Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne. Our guide, Joel, was such a lovely person throughout our tour! He picked us up from our hotel right on time & also brought us some delicious croissants. He educated us on the different varieties of champagnes in France, and briefly explained how wines and champagnes are made. Joel took us to 2 champagne factories and one local winery, where we all ate lunch together with 3 more wine tastings. Joel also took us to some of the best spots for pictures, making our entire trip memorable. I will definitely recommend this tour!

Magnifique!! One of the most enjoyable days best day tours I’ve ever done. Bastien our host was exceptional & an absolute asset to hold on to. His knowledge & passion for Champagne & the region was brilliant. His passion so infectious really made our day. Being greeted with fresh croissants, a coffee stop, vast amounts of knowledge of the region were extra special as Bastien made it for our small group of 8 (perfect size). Particularly loved his sabering the champagne in the vineyard where we sipped on our glasses overlooking the stunning morning scenery. We then visited Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne house where Elliot gave us a brilliant guided tour to learn the interesting process of champagne making followed by tastings. We then visited a small family run champagne house for a beautiful sit down lunch, then another champagne house for a tour & tastings. Overall a brilliantly run tour & highly recommended. Thank you Bastien for making our day & my return to Champagne so special.

This was definately a gem of a tour . It was a very civilized way to spend a day in Champagne from Paris . We were picked up at our hotel , met with croissants and enjoyed a comfortable ride in a Mercedes van . The group size was perfect at 6 . The choice of champagne houses was great with the highlight being a private lunch . Carlos was very informative and knowledgeable . He is a sommelier and gave us several tips of the trade .
