‘’Auschwitz’’ of Albania - Spaç Prison and wild nature

Our adventure begins at the Tourist Infopoint - Infokulla, where we delve into the rich tapestry of the region's past and present. After visiting Infokulla, our next destination is the Spaç prison, a reminder of oppression and suffering from Albania's not-so-distant past.

As we start our trip, our cars drive carefully on the winding canyon road, just like how history has been full of ups and downs. With each turn, we get nearer to the Spaç prison, which used to be a place where people suffered a lot during the time of Hoxha's rule.



Our journey continues along a narrow mountain road, ascending to the tranquil heights of Gurth Spaç at an elevation of 950 meters. Here, a world of serenity and beauty unfolds before our eyes.
