This ATV ride is nothing short of incredibly scenic. Let nature paint an extraordinary picture for you of lava and black sands on the way to the mountains Húsafell and Fiskidalsfjall. Iceland is a land of contrasts and once reaching the Hagafell mountain top, prepare for a splendid panoramic view of the Blue Lagoon and the Eldey island. On the way back, marvel at the blue sea waters and the dramatic shipwrecks which lie along the coast. What is left of the boat “Hrafn the 3rd” is spread all over the area, waiting to share its story of its unfortunate accident.
The path runs through various lava fields and an old harbor with dramatic shipwrecks, which is now a recreational area. Let the hundreds of years old foundations that remain unspoiled and protected take you back in history as you ride through rocky mountain paths towards the summit of the ATV trailed Mt.Hagafell. On the top you will find that it offers a 360 degree panoramic view over the Blue Lagoon, volcanic craters and overlooks Mt.Fagradalsfjall, also known as the site of the historic airplane crash of the US military during WWII and much more.
The ATVs are automatic and easy to control. No previous experience is needed for the tour.
