This was the highlight of our three night stay in Amsterdam. A few things to note. We saw a windmill early in to the ride and assumed we'd see more but didn't so missed the photo opp as we were still getting used to the 'traffic'. My 18 year old daughter pointed out when we got to the cheese factory that the reason my heart was hammering and I couldn't keep up with her was the fact I hadn't actually switched my e-bike on and was effectively propelling the world's heaviest bike for 20kms 🫣! Cheese factory was amazing. Make sure to visit the cows, they were adorable and the mechanisation of milk harvesting was amazing to watch. Staff couldn't have been friendlier and cheese was to die for. We had great weather and thoroughly enjoyed passing through the wee villages along the way. All that exercise justified all the culinary delights Amsterdam has to offer. Self guided on phone so easy to use and gave us complete autonomy to go at our own pace. Young man in shop was so helpful and lovely
both my wife and I found this tour to be absolutely fantastic. we had some confusion with the booking and when we reached the place of start- amster bikes- we were told thw bikes aren't available. the owner- Ramona not only booked us for eh next day tour...she gave us two bikes absolutely free to roam around the city for an entire day!!! tour: our guide was Goulven. he was very sweet and helpful. he quickly took us through the basics of how to make the ebike work and off we went! throughout the trip he explained about amsterdam, surrounding areas..took us to broek in waterland and ransdorp villages. the social farm just outside Ransdorp was a hidden treasure. we met few people at the farm, had what could easily be called the best chocolate milk in the world! overall...our experience was 10/10
