Zoom through the streets of the Akihabara district and Tokyo Station area on this exciting street go-karting tour in Tokyo. Dress up as your chosen character from games and anime for a unique experience. Head to the activity provider’s base to meet your guide. Choose from various costumes to add a fun touch to your tour, then hop on your custom-made go-kart and follow your guide through the streets. Speed through the historic business district of Marunouchi and enjoy a glimpse of the Imperial Palace in the background. Sense the grand presence of Tokyo Station, the hub for 28 train platforms. Imagine your next shopping destination while driving through the luxurious Ginza shopping district. Fit right in wearing your costume in the mecca of Japanese anime and games in Akihabara. Know before you go

  • ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the booklet format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan.
  • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
  • Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
  • Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport
  • Valid IDP's can only be issued by the same country that issued your domestic license and CANNOT be obtained online while traveling.
  • Card or digital documents are NOT accepted by law.

Our tour was FANTASTIC!! Our guide Marky did an excellent job helping our group stay together, taking photos, and even pointing out landmarks at each stoplight so we could learn more about the city. People stopped to wave at us or take pictures and we couldn’t stop smiling! I always felt safe, but also got to enjoy the thrills of driving through the city as the neon lights come on at sunset. This was a highlight of our trip and I’ll never forget driving around Tokyo dressed in a Pikachu onesie! Thank you for a fantastic experience!!
