Fabulous Frank Lloyd Wright museum but think it’s the luck of the draw whether you like the artists. When I visited I saw an amazing exhibition by Nick Cave, vibrant and fun, paintings by Alex Katz, some of which I loved and some of which weren’t very good in my opinion and the Thannhauser collection which contained classics by Picasso, Manet and Degas which were fabulous.

The museum is already an eye-catcher from an architectural point of view and who does not know it from numerous films and documentaries. In reality, it is smaller than previously assumed. The way the works are presented has a more personal touch. When we were there, the entire exhibition was dedicated to the painter "Katz", which made the visit a very special experience, as one was confronted with the entire breadth of the work of just one artist and was able to fully engage with him.

We arrived too late for the day of the reservation, the museum was closing. One of the people at the reception took care of us and assured us that we could come back the next day, which we did, and we got back without any problem, so 1st big good point. Then, the architecture of the site is really very impressive, very refined, relaxing, no walking but a slight drop all along the route. Beautiful works presented, which range from contemporary to more classic artists, with a section reserved for self-portraits in photos of an artist who arouses curiosity! Because it does not lack creativity!
