Explore 800 years of history with this ticket to the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice. Discover the second oldest 'scuola' (lay brotherhood) in Venice which was founded in 1261. See stunning architecture, artwork, and relics.

Walk through the extraordinary marble septum and enter the Gothic Columns Hall, which was intended for welcoming assemblies of the brothers and pilgrims. Move upstairs on the Renaissance Mauro Codussi staircase that was added in 1498.

Continue to the Chapter Hall and uncover the Baroque splendor of painters like Domenico Tintoretto, Giandomenico Tiepolo, and Jacopo Marieschi. Head to the Oratory Hall, to see the majestic relic of the true Cross (1369) which inspired the 'Cycle on the Miracles of the Cross.'

El conjunto de la escuela y la iglesia son dignos de visitar. Mucha historia y muchas obras de arte. Aunque sé que una visita guiada hubiera sido muy interesante, la posibilidad de visitar todo a tu ritmo con la ayuda de la información que te facilitan es también muy útil.
