Full description

Experience a culinary adventure like no other at the Unsicht-Bar, a pitch-dark restaurant in the German capital. With help from your guide, find your way to your table and be served a delicious meal with wine and a dessert. Choose if you would like to experience a live show while dining.

Start your dining adventure in the softly-lit foyer of the bar, where you can enjoy a relaxing drink and choose your dishes for the evening. Get a brief introduction to the time in the dark by your personal guest service, a blind or visually impaired who will assist you.

Follow your guide into the pitch-dark dining room and be helped into the seat at your table. Feel your other senses heighten as you hear the chatter of other guests and sample the delectable dishes. Call upon your guide whenever you need and be led out of the restaurant at the end of your meal.

This was hands down the most incredible experience ever. Was quiet daunting at the beginning because you feel quiet lost not being able to see anything. The waiter we had told us when he served our food and drinks. If you don’t speak much German it doesn’t matter either because their English is fantastic. A lot of the talking they did in the dark room was in German but our waiter came to us after and translated. The food was delicious we chose the suprise menu. Your senses become so enhightened which makes it even more exciting. Really enjoyed this experience and it really makes you feel and understand what it can be like to be blind. Thankyou for an amazing experience and Thankyou to Phillipe for looking after us!!
