The Azores are considered one of the best places for whale watching in the world. 28 species of whales and dolphins have been spotted there over the years. This unique 2 hour to 3 hour tour is the ideal situation for spotting whales and dolphins. With a 90% sighting success rate, the tour is assisted by a whale spotter located at the top of Monte Brasil. With long-range binoculars, they'll be able to guide the Skipper via radio, helping you to find the whereabouts of cetaceans (the animal family that these marine mammals belong to).

Petit groupe dans un bateau assez confortable mais petit Nous en avons pris plein les yeux : plein de dauphins et des baleines a moins de 20 mètres de nous et le luxe d’avoir pu observer des dauphins sous l’eau grâce au fond de verre Petit bémol : trop court … l’excursion devait durer 3 heures mais n’a duré que 2 heures (« bon vu qu’on a observé 3 espèces on peut rentrer au port ») Mais groupe très professionnel et expert

Der Glasboden in diesem Boot ist für Wal- und Delphinbeobachtungen ziemlich nutzlos, da die Tiere ja nicht "überfahren" werden. Und so zutraulich und verspielt wie Delfinarium-Tümmler sind Wildtiere nun mal nicht. Trotzdem hat das Boot einen unschätzbaren Vorteil. Da der Buchungspreis höher ist, als Der für das offene Schlauchboot, ist es ziemlich unterbesetzt und man kann auf dem Boot hin und her laufen, während auf dem anderen Boot bereits einfaches Aufstehen eine Heruausforderung ist.

This excursion was well worth it. The guide Victor was very friendly and informative plus very professional. On our tour we saw whales and a couple dolphin species. Great experience and just the right amount of time. I would highly recommend this tour!!
