Our guide, Gabriella was fabulous! She was knowledgeable and fun and clearly loves her work as a guide. We did both the palace and gardens tour, which I highly recommend. We (family of four with two teens) absolutely loved the gardens in part because of Gabriella’s excellent guiding and deep knowledge of their history. Try to plan to go when the fountains are on (we went on a Saturday). It’s really spectacular to see some of the lesser known fountains and gardens.

Our Versailles walking tour was excellent! It was so crowded but our guide did a great job of keeping the group moving and telling us entertained with details about Versailles and the royals who lived there. Definitely recommend adding the Gardens access and give yourself time to go to the gardens! There's a Café within the Versailles Palace museum, so my recommendation would be to book the walking tour earlier in the day and then grabbing a quick lunch in the café and then entering the gardens to explore. You can even rent a golf cart for an hour to get the maximum bang for your buck and see even more of the gardens! The skip the line tickets are well worth it because -- as of noon on that Saturday in September -- the line to get in was crazy long. The palace also does evening concerts / events in the gardens with fireworks, so that's something else to keep a lookout for. Parking in Versailles was paid, but easy to find and it was easy to get in and out!

It was wonderful Tundi did a great job but I wish your directions for train information was better for us that don’t speak French The term right bank (rive gauche) confused me it might be better to just say go to the end of the RER C AT VERSAILLES. WE got off at rive gauche flay But as we arrived late your office was wonderful to put us on the next group. Great tour and excellent service. Merci
