Learn about the architectural styles that were used, with Christianity and Islam both having an influence. Marvel at the beautiful Gate of Pomegranates, then walk past the Pillar of Charles V fountain, erected in 1554 along the route that leads to the main entrance of the Alhambra. Explore the Alcazaba fortress, formerly a military precinct and the oldest area of the Alhambra complex. You will also visit the Nasrid Palaces including the Palace of Mexuar, the Palace of Comares, and the Court of the Lions. Finally head to the Generalife, the summer palace of the Nasrid Emirs, home to one of the oldest surviving gardens of the Moors. It was a nice tour and definitely Alhambra is a place to visit and it needs to be guided so you can understand the beauty and magic of each area. The tour guide was amazing, and know 5 languages! awesome! Some organization issues initially and with the devices but quickly resolved. Fully recommended!

3 hour guided tour with earpiece so you can wander as the guide continues with their historical stories and tidbits in your ear. My partner and I were placed in a group of 8, so it wasn't too many as we moved through the palaces. Our guide Laura is clearly very knowledgeable.

Our guide was welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. She made sure we were all with her so that no one got lost in the crowds. Her English was very good, I could understand her easily. I really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot about the time and history of the place.
