It was an unforgettable experience! I recommend to all lovers of Venice to discover its beauties through guided visits. We chose a private visit for two with Francesco: professional, competent, friendly: he explained the history and secrets of the Doge's Palace and the Basilica San Marco in a complete and precise way.

My adult daughter and I had wonderful tour with Sabrina. She was incredibly knowledgeable about Venetian history and the significance of the art in the palace. Because it was such a busy weekend and lines were very long, the basilica closed before we could enter. Sabrina suggested we attend the evening mass, which ended up being a great idea because the lights were turned on and the grandeur of the basilica was on full display. Note: They do require that you stay for the entire mass. I was very happy that I was able to contact someone by phone immediately before the tour when I grew concerned that I wasn't able to find the guide. The meet-up point is a very busy starting point for tours.
