Tour of the Dome and the Cathedral Museum was very well done. A little bit of chaos at the start as there was construction in the area and it was hard to find the right lane in which to queue, but it all got sorted out. Great to be able to climb up into the dome and see the frescos on the ceiling up close, plus the view of the city.

I loved climbing the dome and leaning about the history of the cathedral. The view of Florence from the top is absolutely breathtaking. After the tour was over, we were able to use our tickets to enter the baptistery and climb the bell tower on our own. We were also able to get some great photos of the dome and the city from the bell tower.

The 467 step climb is worth it! This is maybe the least traditional fresco we saw. Our tour guide was in formative and gave us time to enjoy and take photos. GO EARLY, it gets stuffy. Also, tip your tour guides! I was appalled by the verbal compliments without compensating them for a job so well done.
