Touring the Palazzo Vecchio was the #1 item on our list of "tours to do" for this trip to Florence. We were just THRILLED with how WONDERFUL the tour was! We had SAM for our guide; who is a very delightful & extremely knowledgable young man. Following him around was a great treat!! Listening to him is like ALL the Wikipedia pages with AL the information available about the palace & the Medici family just starts rolling out. We learned so so much, and will always be grateful we had such an awesome guide to show us around this stunning palace.

Great tour with Samuel! The Palazzo Vecchio is not to be missed on any complete tour of Florence! Our guide Samuel gave us some history on the Medici family before taking us into the palace, helping us feel situated, history-wise. He gave us the right amount of information on the various frescoes, pointing out important symbolism and figures. He also asked us questions and kept us engaged throughout the tour. Definitely recommend this tour and Samuel. Especially since your group had several knowledgeable parties and he was able to answer even the most obscure questions about Florence and the Medici history.
