It was a nice tour where you can learn a lot about Hamburg.. if you understand German :) The presentation in German language was extremely loud, in the background, which covered the sound of the guide in our headphones. So practically if you don't understand German, you will not get much from your headphones anyway. We've participated in other tours before across Europe and it's the first time we had this issue. Normally each person had their own headphones with their selected language, regardless the country where the tour is taking place. This was different. But besides this, the tour was ok and I recommend it if your are there for a short stay, because there are a lot of beautiful places in Hamburg to see :)

Good in general

The hop on and off bus personnel told me I can't use a mobile ticket. If I'm travelling, where am I supposed to find a printer to print the tickets? This highly discourages people from buying online. There was another operator who let me on the bus to go to main station to change my ticket into a paper form. This is such a hassle. Hence why I gave it a minus 1 star. I also found out later that it's cheaper to buy in person than to buy online. This highly discourages me to purchase online again for this tour. Despite that, going around town was good. I wish I did this on the first day I was here so that I know what was around town to explore further. Since I did it mid way, I already went to several places that the bus was stopping at. It wasn't as appealing. It is overall, a great method to see the city

A nice way to get to know the city

You can easily reach all important points of the city. The timetable is well packed and you get ahead quickly. On the way to the next stop you will be provided with interesting information. Since you can use the ticket throughout the day, you can also drive some sections several times and then always learns new details. It is not a boring audioguide tour but it is live, and thus always with other priorities, reported on the sights. Absolutely worthwhile, interesting and entertaining.
