Full description

Spend a day at the 450-year-old Rudas Thermal Bath and relax in the warm thermal waters. Enjoy the spa facilities including the sauna area, a 42-degree thermal pool, an 11-degree plunge pool, as well as a panorama pool.   Then head over to the bistro and enjoy a delicious 3-course meal from the a la carte menu. Select the wine or champagne options to complete your meal with a drink.    Dine while admiring the stunning views over the Danube River and the cityscape. Enjoy this unique wellness adventure, in the heart of Budapest. Rudas Bistro was born in 2017 from the dream of two old friends, Gergő and Gábor. Our goal was to create a friendly and intimate place that offers stunning views and reimagined Hungarian bistro cuisine. We are proud that every visit to Rudas Bistro is a gastronomic experience. Situated within the historic, nearly 500-year-old Rudas Baths, we aimed to establish a venue that honors the heritage and traditions of this renowned spa.

Rudas Thermal Bath is located at Döbrentei tér 9, Budapest. Please go to Rudas Bistro to collect your ticket to the Rudas Bath. The bistro is to the left of the bath's entrance, just follow the signs.

  • The renewed Panorama Pool is now open again

the dinner experience was absolutely fantastic! restaurant staff and the quality of the dishes was impressive!! the spa facilities really need to be cleaned up, it is nothing like in the pictures. there is no guidance from the spa staff and honestly we found them to be a bit rude, they do not do the restaurant any justice.

We visited during the week on Thursday, arrived midday and stayed until 4pm. The food was surprisingly good and service at the restaurant was nice too, our server he was very welcoming and kind. Bath areas were clean and it was really fun doing a contrast plunge! Panoramic views were really nice as well, I would recommend this activity for people traveling to Budapest.
