Brilliant. The explanations from the guide Alena (in Spanish) have been very interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended. First we took the tour with the guide through the rooms and underground, and then we visited the clock tower on our own. In total about 2 hours approx.

The ticket includes both the guided tour of the halls of the town hall and the chapel (which can also be accessed independently), and the climb to the clock tower. We first toured the rooms and the chapel independently and then climbed the clock tower (both during the day and in the late afternoon as soon as it got dark). The rooms are interesting but it is best to go around them with the guide who tells episodes and anecdotes of past eras (it's a shame that there is no tour in Italian, we joined the one in English). The climb to the tower (you can go up by lift or on foot via a circular route without stairs) is worth doing both during the day to admire a wonderful 360-degree view of the city and at dusk (because Prague when illuminated is truly splendid) . At the end of the guided tour of the Town Hall and chapel rooms, you will go down with the guide to the basement (not accessible independently)

I loved the Old Town Hall. The man working the counter at the entrance was really nice and helpful. Before my tour, I explored the house on my own and went to the tower. Since there are ramps up to the tower, the climb is not straining at all. The view from the top was fantastic. It was the best of the city I had. And it was not too crowded up top. Climbing up and down took me roughly half an hour. I was back in time for the tour. Tours are offered in English and Czech. The tour guide was knowledgeable and explained a lot of the city. I did the tour on my first day in Prague. I feel like I sometimes missed a bit of knowledge about Prague's general history so I recommend a visit to the National Museum or the House of the Golden Ring prior. The tour guide had time and knowledge to answer any questions. I learnt so much quick facts on this tour and had fun. You can only go into the basement with a guide and I highly recommend! It is more than 1000 years old.
