Three hours was plenty. Our guide, Emmanuel was amazing. Kept our attention the whole time and was very knowledgeable. We did the cheaper session with nonunderground and glad we did. What we saw was more than enough and we saved $110 Australian dollars but just doing this tour. Fantastic!

The tour covered the major sites of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. Matteo our guide was knowledgable and provided lots of information. The tour was a bit rushed and we could have used a little more time to take photos or relax, especially with a 6 years old.

The guide was very informative and efficient. I learned a lot from him. He kept the group moving and took care of our needs. I took this tour on my last day in Rome, but would recommend it as the first tour. From Palantine Hill you get a panoramic view of the city and our guide told us about all of the interesting places to visit, many of which I missed. Although the guide was excellent, he did not really tell us anything about him self or ask people to introduce members of the group to each other. It's nice to know a bit more about the guide and where people come from.
