Such a lovely experience! We first changed clothes, then gave bananas to elephants (they eat A LOT). After that, we went for a walk with them but stopped a lot because elephants were eating plants. Then we played with elephants in the mud and bath them right after. Lunch was also super good (totally vegetarian). We could there take a shower and finally they drove us back to hotel. No sign of something wrong with the place, it does really seem elephants are being taken care.

I had a very enjoyable trip to the Elephant Retirement Park. It seemed an ethically run establishment. I got to walk with the elephants through the jungle, then extreme mud bathing with the elephants, washing the elephants and then some lunch. For 300 Baht I bought digital photo files sent as a link. That was good value for the quality of the images. Also, on Facebook with the tour company I could download more photos. This was nice as a solo traveller to get good photos of my trip. I would recommend this trip.

They were punctual about the pick up, were very friendly. They are so dedicated to the well being of the elephants, and gave us lots of information about their rescue mission and how to take care of the elephants. It’s a perfect half day where you prepare food for the elephants, feed them and bathe them. The team also takes photos for you, and provides lunch after the entire tour. All in all, a very fulfilling experience
