Mohamed was so kind to wait for us for 20 minutes after we had lunch and gone to our riad at the other end of town. We had just arrived early in the morning with little sleep. We managed to find our way through the souks with the mappy.me app and then began our tour through the souks. He speaks very good English and has a good sense of humour and was understanding that we were still tired from our journey and therefore a bit ‘slow.’ He brought us to many interesting shops and places in the souks and we did not feel pressurized into buying stuff we did not want although we still spent more than we had intended because we were not so sharp due to our fatigue. As an introductory tour to the souks we would definitely recommend Mohamed.

Our guide Omar was brilliant, he spoke excellent English and told us all about the souks and the craftsmen which was very interesting. If we had not been with him we would have got lost and missed out on seeing some key sites. I would highly recommend getting a local guide if you are thinking of coming to Marrakech - and ask for Omar! He was good fun and chatted to us non stop. This 3 hour tour was the highlight of our trip, thank you Omar!

Our guide Omar was great! He texted with us before the tour to finalize plans and helped us with locating the meeting spot. Omar was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed visiting the different souks, the women's cooperative and the spice market, as well as the mellah and the synagogue.
